Selby Jennings has partnered with one of the largest single-CIO hedge funds. It is among the earliest hedge funds established in the early 2000s. The firm is currently seeking a mid-senior level analyst to focus on the Japanese market.

The fund manages a book of over USD 4 billion, and the CIO is looking to strengthen the Japanese equity research team. Candidates must demonstrate strong fundamental research capabilities.

Requirements:

• 5-12 years of experience as an equity researcher (buyside experience preferred)
• Native Japanese speaker; business-proficient English is essential
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and financial statement analysis
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of research
