Description
The goal of Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is to build a world class last mile operation. We aim to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately and cost effectively as possible.Peak Program Manager is a very impactful role as you will need to coordinate across functions and understand the complexity of the whole business to ensure proper sync within AMZL and between other organizations and AMZL.
In particular, you will work for tasks such as:
1. Peak Readiness function as go to person for everything that concerns Prime/Peak preparation vs business as usual, as well as owning internal readiness calls, readiness docs, playbooks, trackers and prime/peak reporting.
2. Ensure alignment of different plans across different teams and organizations, being a liaison between miles, S&OP team and central functions for Capacity, Volume, Resources, Stations and Network Solve. This also implies the anticipation ok long lead works and equipment.
3. Support implementing Tools, Guidelines, Reports and Projects within the country, including being the Program Manager or the Sponsor for operations projects and being the main country POC for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Peak/Prime Day Country Readiness Leadership.
Serve as the primary Program Manager for Peak and Prime Day preparations.
Own and drive internal readiness meetings and documentation.
Develop and maintain operational playbooks.
Create and manage tracking systems.
Lead Peak/Prime performance reporting and analytics.
Act as the main point of contact for all Peak/Prime related initiatives.
Cross-Functional Planning & Coordination.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Business level of Japanese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
