Are you passionate about golf and enjoy working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment? The City of Carthage is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Golf Course Operations Supervisor to help oversee daily operations at our municipal golf course.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSE)
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette
• Mechanical aptitude for golf cart maintenance
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Valid Missouri driver's license and a working phone

Essential Responsibilities

• Open and close the Pro Shop and prepare for daily operations
• Collect green/cart fees and manage point-of-sale transactions
• Supervise part-time Pro Shop staff and assist with scheduling
• Maintain and repair golf carts
• Assist with tournaments, scoring, and course setup
• Provide excellent customer service, including tee time scheduling and first-tee coordination
• Perform light maintenance around the Pro Shop and grounds

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule determined bi-weekly. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Occasional overtime may be needed.
