Overview

The resort is located in Mid-Missouri 2 1/2 hours from both St. Louis and Kansas City in Osage Beach, MO which is the heart of the Lake of the Ozarks. The Lake of the Ozarks was voted the #1 recreational lake in the country and is home to the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail. The assistant golf professional / tournament coordinator will be resposnible for coordinating and organizing all resort group outings and outside events. Working closely with the resort sales team and Food & Beverage teams to facilitate and great guest experience for our group customers. 2,500 plus group and outside event rounds are played. 28,000 plus golf rounds are played at this busy resort golf course with abuot 120 golf members. This indivdual will also be working the golf shop counter, checking in customers, booking tee times, merchandising, teaching and learning all aspects of the operation in preparation for internal advancement in the next 2 to 4 years.

Experience Required

This indivual will be required to enter the PGA Associate program if not already enrolled or already a PGA Member. PGA University graduates are also happy to apply. Resort will assist in payments for the program and PGA Dues are paid.

Essential Responsibilities

This individual must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Be able to multi-task in a busy environment and be able to manage other team members. This indivdual should be a good communicator both verbally and written and it would be very helpful if they were proficent with microsoft excel, Golf Genius and experience with tee sheet mangement and golf POS systems.
