Description
Looking for Bariatric Surgery fellow (One year) for next year starting August 1st, 2026 for one year. This is an accredited fellowship with Felllowship Council. Details can be obtained for the Fellowship Council site. Fellow must have completed 5 year of surgical training in an accredited US program (at the time of start of fellowship). Mercy has Bariatric fellows since 2020. It has two faculty memebers, about 300 cases (Laparoscopic and Robotic) involving Sleeve (60%), Bypass (25%) and remaining revisions, general upper GI cases. Fellows also have robust Endoscopy experience. No competition with Surgical residents.
Requirements
- Must have completed US based surgical training (completed at the time of start of fellowship).
- No VISA support available. (H-1, J-1 or any other)
- Licensed in Maryland to practice medicine (at the start of the fellowship).
