Project Manager - Global HR Application Migration
About the Role:
One of the biggest International Medical device manufactures is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a global HR transformation initiative. This role focuses on migrating regional/local HR applications to a unified global model, with a primary emphasis on SuccessFactors and related SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of application migration projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Drive governance activities such as RAID logs, reporting, and compliance with PMO standards.
- Coordinate data migration, system integration (SAP/ERP), testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover planning.
- Engage senior HR stakeholders and provide executive-ready communication.
- Collaborate with global teams and vendors to ensure successful implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management or PMO experience.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (N1 equivalent) and English.
- Experience managing global projects involving multiple regions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with cloud/SaaS implementations and ERP integrations.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Prince2, Agile/SCRUM).
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus (not required).
