About the Role

As a Business Coordinator, you'll serve as a crucial link between our client managers and various operational functions, ensuring smooth business processes while gaining valuable insights into the reinsurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key partner for Client Underwriters and Key Account Managers, providing essential support for client-facing activities
• Manage your own portfolio including contract management, data gathering, analysis, and reporting
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Claims, Underwriting, and Contracts teams to ensure seamless operations
• Create professional presentations for client visits, events, and conferences
• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives to drive business improvements

About the Team

We are a multinational, dynamic and engaged team of more than 60 Business Coordinators, divided into smaller teams according to EMEA markets. Our team is the backbone for our client managers, who originate and renew the business with clients. We are also the only reinsurance department that oversees the end-to-end process.

About You

You're a reliable, self-driven professional who approaches challenges with a constructive and open mindset. Your attention to detail, prioritization skills, and effective communication make you an excellent team player. You thrive on delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Proficiency in English (fluency required), with another European language being an advantage
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Data literacy with the ability to read and interpret data effectively

These are additional nice to haves:

• Previous experience in administration or Insurance/Reinsurance (though the position is suitable for graduates)
• Project management experience
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in multicultural environments

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1400 and EUR 2300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
