Description

Assistant needed for Congressional candidate in Red to Blue district. The person helps to prepare and carry out day-to-day activities as set by the Candidate, General Consultant and Campaign Team. The Assistant will work with the candidate, voters and volunteers to help with event coordination, fundraising needs, some research online and materials distribution. They will be an enthusiastic supporter of the candidate, learning about the office, competition and the community, and they will accurately represent the candidate when in public. 

Requirements

• Assist with day-to-day campaign activities, including helping candidate stay on task and on schedule
• Coordinate scheduling and attend regular campaign team meetings on Mondays at 3:00 PM
• Help with house parties, meet and greets, including taking pictures at events for use in social media, and campaign fundraising events
• Assist with routine follow up tasks, such as research online, printing and mailing thank you letters, light phone calls work, etc.
• Deliver and distribute campaign materials as needed, such as walk pieces, voter lists, event materials, checks, etc.
• Serve as a messenger of information to and from the candidate, general consultant, campaign team, some volunteers and supporters
• Other duties as assigned
