Description

FULLY REMOTE    **Please only apply if you are ODS Certified**

Responsible for case finding, data abstraction and follow-up of patients with cancer or other reportable diagnosis.
Performs clinical data abstraction by capturing the complete patient history, diagnosis, staging, and treatment information for all patients accessioned into the cancer registry following the guidelines established by the Tennessee Cancer Registry and the American College of Surgeon Commission on Cancer.
Utilizes cancer data collection principles and assigns codes to the extracted data based on established coding systems (STORE, SEER, ICD-O3, AJCC Staging) to ensure consistency and compliance with reporting guidelines.
Adheres to HIPAA privacy regulations and other virtual office procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• CTR/ODS credentialed (ODS I - 0-5 years, ODS II - 6+ years)
• Would be beneficial to have experience working with an accredited cancer program.
• Telework experience preferred
• Oncolog and EPIC experience preferred
