Description
About MBHS
McMillan Behavioral Health and Addiction Services (MBHS) is a values-driven group practice rooted in Ferndale, MI. We provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care with a strong foundation in recovery and LGBTQ+ affirming services. Our current focus includes serving Queer individuals, couples, and communities in recovery, with a growing commitment to expanding access to care for underserved and rural populations across Michigan.
We believe healing is relational, embodied, and informed by the realities of lived experience. As the founder of MBHS, I’m committed to addressing the trauma impacting marginalized communities today—including systemic oppression, racialized violence, and identity-based harm. I’m looking for clinicians who are passionate about expanding the scope of our practice to better reflect the diverse needs of our state.
Position Overview
MBHS is seeking licensed LMSWs with an existing client caseload, and LLMSWs who are just starting out and eager to grow within a supportive group practice. I also welcome fully licensed LPCs who are independently paneled and have an active caseload.
This role is ideal for clinicians passionate about trauma recovery, relational work, and inclusive care. We are especially looking for Telehealth-based therapists who can serve clients in rural regions of Michigan where affirming care is limited.
Due to the clinical scope and insurance billing requirements of this role, applicants must hold LLMSW, LMSW or LPC licensure in Michigan.
