Description
Legal Aid Center is accepting applications for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Community Justice Fellowship, sponsored by Paul Padda Law. Legal Aid Center awards a one-year Community Justice Fellowship to a law student graduate, outgoing judicial law clerk, or an attorney with less than 3 years of postgraduate legal experience who wants to work in a public interest law firm and learn how the top legal aid in Nevada assisted over 198,000 individuals last year. The Fellow will assist with the unmet legal need at Legal Aid Center while working in all of Legal Aid Center’s Project areas and gaining practical experience with clients from interviewing, to processing cases, and final resolution.
Application period: December 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026
Notifications of hire: February 2026
Fellowship period: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027
Preferences
An applicant who is a member of a diverse group that is historically underrepresented in the practice of law;
An applicant who is fluent in a language spoken in an underserved community; and/or
An applicant who desires to attain full-time employment at Legal Aid Center or who wishes to become a state bar leader in the area of Access to Justice.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is dependent upon experience with annual increases available. Our excellent benefits start on date of hire and include:
