| Position Summary: | The Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Program (BSBME) at Villanova University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track teaching faculty position, beginning Fall 2026. Candidates will be considered for an Assistant or Associate Professor rank commensurate with their education and experience. This is a nine-month academic year appointment, renewable subject to enrollment needs, availability of funding, and performance. The BSBME Program is looking for a versatile faculty member that can contribute to and enhance the Program. The successful candidate will teach core and elective courses in biomedical engineering, with a focus on one or more of the following areas: experimental analysis and design, product design, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, numerical modelling, or physiology. The ideal candidate will be eager to help develop new course content and curriculum. Successful candidates must be able to work collaboratively in the classroom and across project topics with faculty in the program and across the college. The appointment begins in August 2026. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order.
