Position Overview

Fargo Country Club is seeking a driven, organized, and high-energy Director of Instruction to lead and elevate all aspects of player development within the club.

This role is designed for an individual who wants to build something meaningful.

You will own the entire instructional ecosystem at FCC, from junior development to adult programming, from beginner golfers to high-performance players.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Player Development

• Deliver high-level private instruction to members and guests
• Build and maintain a robust personal lesson book
• Design and implement long-term player development plans
• Coach players across all skill levels, including high-performance golfers

 

Program Development

• Build and lead:
• • Junior Academy
  • Adult clinics and group programming
  • Ladies and beginner programs
  • Pop-up and specialty clinics
• Create a clear pathway for golfer progression within the club
• Continuously innovate programming to drive engagement

 

Junior Golf Leadership

• Oversee and elevate all junior camps and lesson instructors
• Create a structured, fun, and competitive junior environment
• Develop programs that retain and grow junior participation year-over-year

 

Club Fitting & Equipment Integration

• Conduct professional club fittings using top-tier OEM equipment
• Integrate instruction with equipment to maximize player performance
• Drive engagement through fitting events and demo experiences

 

Member Engagement & Communication

• Maintain consistent, proactive communication with members
• Be visible, approachable, and present within the club environment
• Deliver an experience that reflects FCC's culture:
  competitive, family-oriented, and high-end

 

Compensation Structure

• Fully commission-based (90/10 split, negotiable)
• Bonus opportunities tied to:
• • Lesson revenue
  • Member engagement and program participation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of instructional experience
• PGA Membership preferred but not required
• Strong understanding and experience with TrackMan technology
• Proven ability to:
• • Build relationships with members
  • Organize and execute programming
  • Communicate clearly and consistently
• High-energy, self-starter with a growth mindset
