Director of Music Ministry (Part-Time)
Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church – Yorktown, VA

Crooks Memorial UMC is seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministry to lead our music program, combining roles of choir director and organist/pianist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the Chancel Choir and lead music for Sunday worship, special services, and major church events.
• Provide organ/piano accompaniment for worship, weddings, and funerals.
• Collaborate with the Pastor to plan hymns and special music.
• Recruit and encourage participation in choirs, ensembles, and solo offerings.

Qualifications:

• Christian faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Music education preferred.
• Proven ability to direct choirs and play organ/piano.
• Experience in church music ministry.

Compensation:

Part-time salaried position
Annual salary: $20,500
