Position Title: Director of Programs
Location: Tulsa, OK (on-site at our Northwest Tulsa community center)
Compensation: $76,000 – $96,000 annually
Reports to: Executive Director
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt

We collaborate with our Northwest Tulsa neighbors and other partners—advocating for the
community and creating opportunities through education, physical and mental health, career
development, sports, and the arts for children, families, and residents of all ages.
Position Summary
The Program Director is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for the day-to-day oversight
of all programs operating within The Common Good’s community center. This role supervises 4–
5 Program Managers and is charged with ensuring high-quality, community-centered
programming that drives measurable outcomes across multiple service areas. This leader will
manage daily operations, support data and impact tracking, ensure compliance and risk
mitigation, and cultivate a strong team culture of collaboration and accountability.
Requirements
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and support 4–5 Program Managers across diverse program areas (e.g., youth,
early childhood, seniors, recreation). - Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development for
program staff. - Ensure effective coordination across programs to optimize use of space, volunteers, and
resources.
Program Oversight & Development
- Oversee daily operations of all on-site programming, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and
well-organized environment. - Ensure alignment of programming with community needs, organizational goals, and
funding requirements. - Oversee grant objectives and deliverables are fully met in partnership with the ED.
Impact, Compliance & Risk Management
- Implement systems for tracking program outcomes, client data, and community impact.
- Monitor progress toward key performance indicators, including grant-funded goals and
outputs. - Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, including safety, staffing, and operational
vulnerabilities. - Partner with leadership on program audits, incident reporting, and continuous
improvement efforts.
Collaboration & Community Engagement
- Partner with external organizations, volunteers, and local agencies to support holistic
service delivery. - Represent The Common Good in community meetings and collaborations as needed.
- Support program events, family engagement activities, and cross-program initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, education, social work, public administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with program evaluation tools and platforms.
- Experience managing risk and compliance in multi-program environments.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Northwest Tulsa. Occasional evenings or weekends required for events and programming needs.
