We are currently in search of an Executive Director for Arcata House Partnership, a Social Services Nonprofit. The position is Hybrid in Northern California (Arcata, CA within Humboldt County). This is a full-time, permanent position.

LOCATION: Arcata, CA (Humboldt County in Northern California)
POSITION TITLE: Executive Director
SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week
DURATION: Permanent – Direct Hire
ANNUAL SALARY: $120,000.00

AHP is the leading provider of homeless services and housing in the county, providing emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, and supportive services to local individuals and families. Our Ideal Candidate:
- Senior leadership experience within housing, homeless services, or related human services organizations
- Experience with affordable housing systems, public funding, or housing development environments (HUD, LIHTC, or similar)
- Ability to navigate evolving federal and government funding landscapes
- Proven ability to build partnerships with government agencies, funders, and community stakeholders
- Deep commitment to client-centered, dignity-driven service delivery
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Lead organizational strategy and implementation; provide overall leadership of organizational operations
- Advance growth initiatives; provide direct oversight of program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities; support with grant strategy, reporting, and overall grant lifecycle management
- Partner closely with the Board of Directors on organizational growth, governance, and policy implementation
- Supervise and support department leaders while fostering continued collaboration
- Oversee contracts, compliance, fiscal administration, and reporting requirements
- Strengthen partnerships with government entities, housing organizations, and community partners
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Arcata House Partnership in the community
