Description

The Harry Dunn for Maryland campaign is seeking a Field Director to lead a dynamic and aggressive grassroots organizing program for the 2026 campaign in Maryland’s 5th Congressional District.

The Field Director will be responsible for building and managing a comprehensive field operation, including voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and grassroots engagement. This role will oversee the development and execution of strategies to mobilize voters, expand the campaign’s reach, and turn out a winning coalition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement a data-driven field plan focused on voter persuasion and turnout

- Recruit, train, and manage a large volunteer base and field staff

- Oversee canvassing, phone banking, and text programs

- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations and community leaders

- Manage field data, reporting, and program metrics

- Coordinate closely with communications and digital teams to ensure message alignment

Requirements

- Previous campaign field experience, preferably at the congressional or statewide level

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Experience with voter file tools and field organizing platforms

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
