A dynamic Democratic County Executive campaign in Montgomery County, Maryland, is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Finance Director to lead our fundraising operations. This is a senior-level opportunity to spearhead the financial engine of a high-profile campaign and join a high-impact team dedicated to making a tangible difference in our community.

The Finance Director will work closely with the Campaign Manager and the Candidate to execute a robust finance plan and ensure the resources necessary to win are secured. This role is time-intensive and demanding, including evenings and weekends, and requires a professional capable of managing both high-level strategy and meticulous administrative compliance.

Requirements

• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive finance plan, including major donor cultivation, grassroots fundraising, and digital programs.
• Call Time Management: Prepare materials for and staff the candidate during call time; manage aggressive follow-up to ensure pledges are fulfilled.
• Event Planning: Organize and execute fundraising events ranging from small house parties to large-scale receptions.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all contributions are tracked and reported in strict accordance with Maryland State Board of Elections regulations.
• Donor Research: Conduct ongoing research to identify and vet potential new contributors within Montgomery County and beyond.
