Role
The Golf Outside Operations Supervisor plays a central role in delivering an exceptional golf experience for every guest. This position oversees all outside golf operations, including guest services, Toptracer programming, and support for tournaments and group events. As a visible ambassador of our golf operation, you ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding service, personalized attention, and a welcoming environment.
In addition to operational leadership, this role provides high‑quality golf instruction using Toptracer technology, creating an engaging, educational, and enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. By blending teaching expertise, technology, and hospitality, you help elevate the overall golf experience and uphold Hyatt's standards for memorable guest service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Operations
- Execute and uphold all outside operations procedures in alignment with golf industry standards.
- Assist guests with smooth, efficient movement throughout the facility.
- Ensure proper cleaning, staging, and storage of golf equipment at arrival and departure.
- Maintain pristine conditions in the Cart Barn and all surrounding operational areas.
- Monitor and facilitate pace of play to optimize guest enjoyment.
- Engage guests proactively at key touchpoints including parking areas, staging zones, and practice facilities.
- Communicate daily course rules, conditions, and tee sheet updates to the Golf Shop team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe physical environment across all operational areas.
Toptracer & Instruction
- Provide individual and group golf instruction utilizing Toptracer technology.
- Analyze swing data and performance metrics to deliver clear, actionable coaching.
- Demonstrate proper golf techniques, drills, and Toptracer gameplay features.
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment for players of all ages and abilities.
- Promote lesson programs, clinics, and Toptracer instructional offerings.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed during instruction and practice sessions.
- Maintain clean, organized instructional spaces and equipment.
- Assist guests in understanding Toptracer practice modes and gameplay features.
- Collaborate with Golf Operations and Toptracer teams to enhance programming and guest engagement.
Events & Tournament Support
- Coordinate group golf events, outings, and tournament functions.
- Partner with Catering and Sales teams to support golf‑related events.
- Participate in pre‑conference and event planning meetings.
- Support the Director of Golf with hiring, onboarding, and training of Golf Shop and Guest Services staff.
Course & Facility Oversight
- Monitor course conditions and promptly report changes or concerns to the Director of Golf and Operations Manager.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and professional appearance of all operational areas.

Qualifications
- PGA Member or Apprentice preferred (or equivalent professional teaching experience)
- Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals, swing mechanics, and instructional techniques
- Experience using golf technology and swing analysis tools; Toptracer experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching
- Ability to engage guests of varying ages and skill levels
- Professional demeanor aligned with Hyatt service standards
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, demonstrate golf swings, and provide instruction for extended periods
- Ability to lift and handle golf equipment as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet resort business levels
