The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Grant Coordinator to support the North Texas and Gulf Coast Region. This role will sit in Dallas, TX.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The coordinator will play a key role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Chapter Executive Directors across the Red Cross North Texas and Gulf Coast Regions to align on strategic goals, exchange updates, and support United Way grant writing and reporting.
Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams. The coordinator must effectively manage multiple priorities, consistently meet deadlines, and ensure all stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the duration of each project.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD:
Research, write, and submit grants and grant reports for United Way and other foundations as needed.
Assist with United Way workplace campaign initiatives to drive engagement and participation.
Provide resources and tools to support Red Cross fundraisers in developing donor strategies.
Identify, research, and qualify foundations aligned with organizational funding needs.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategies that strengthen grantor relationships, streamline processes, and increase funding support.
Coordinate logistics and relationship management for foundation grant cycles.
Develop effective communication plans for special events and donor engagement activities.
Track and manage donor benefit packages as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Associate degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. The combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined.
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Knowledge of office systems: MS Office preferred and Salesforce preferred.
Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (business office with computers, phones and printers, traffic light). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
