About the Role
As the Manager, HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor to leaders up to VP/GM level, helping shape talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and change initiatives that drive business success. Leveraging your HR Business Partner expertise, you will deliver data-driven, people-focused solutions, influence key business decisions, and partner across the organization to create impactful employee experiences. What You’ll Do
- Partner with leaders and employees to support talent initiatives, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Provide HR guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, career development, disciplinary actions, and HR policy interpretation.
- Support compliance, labor relations, and change management initiatives in partnership with Legal, HR teams, and business leaders.
- Analyze workforce trends and HR data to deliver insights, recommendations, and business-focused solutions.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and stakeholders to support strategic HR initiatives, workforce transformation efforts, and employee experience programs.
- Mentor junior HR Business Partner team members and help drive collaboration, continuity, and execution across the HRBP function.
- Lead and manage complex HR projects and strategic initiatives (e.g., Power Development Strong, NOVUM, growth, and decommissioning efforts) by coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and business stakeholders to support workflow coordination, communication, and execution of HR initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of HR or related experience with a bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or a related field, or 9+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Proven experience leading HR teams and serving as an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leader within complex, highly regulated industries such as energy, utilities, nuclear, oil & gas, or power generation.
- Proven HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership experience, with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and organizational outcomes.
- Advanced experience leading change management, organizational transformation, and complex cross-functional projects, including influencing stakeholders and driving results without direct authority.
- Expertise in employee relations, compliance, HR policy interpretation, and leveraging workforce analytics to drive talent strategies, workforce planning, and data-driven business decisions.
