Description
A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Rotation Site Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position reports to the Director of Programs and Director of Clinical Affairs.
The Rotation Site Coordinator facilitates KCOM clinical curriculum (years 3 and 4) and provides administrative support in the region as needed. Other general responsibilities include frequent communication with the Director of Programs, DSME, and office staff to ensure needed documentation is distributed, schedule rotations and ensure needed paperwork is complete.
Duties & Responsibilities
- First line communication to assist students with schedules, questions, concerns, problems at the base site.
- Schedule rotations and assist in development of overall student schedules.
- Utilize University identified electronic tracking program to maintain accurate rotation and student information as appropriate.
- Maintain database of active preceptors for medical students. Assist in planning of Education Day activities.
- Schedule and proctor student exams.
- Monitor student progress and audits.
- Participate in monthly Zoom on-line session meetings with main campus and all coordinators.
- Maintain current contact list of students (address, telephone, etc.).
- Provide list of active preceptors for annual recognition project.
- Generate reports related to site assigned students as needed.
- Provide site specific information for campus publications (site guide, surveys, etc.).
- Assist with student site tours, orientation, annual site visit.
- Attend annual conference.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor Degree preferred.
- One to two years experience in office management.
- Possess Business/Management (or combination of education and experience).
- Business and office practices.
- Leadership and Communication.
