Camp Kennybrook is a traditional sleepaway camp in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York. Family-owned and operated for 60 years, we pride ourselves on being a close-knit community where campers and staff alike create lasting memories, grow as individuals, and feel truly known.

We’re launching a brand-new Lacrosse Program for Summer 2026 and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced leader to bring it to life!

Position Overview
The Lacrosse Director will design and lead a new lacrosse program for campers ages 7–15. This is an exciting opportunity to build a program from the ground up, creating the curriculum, leading practices, and mentoring a team of college-aged counselors who will assist in instruction.

The ideal candidate loves working with kids, thrives in a community environment, and is passionate about growing the game of lacrosse in a fun and positive way.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a daily lacrosse curriculum for various skill levels.
Assist in marketing efforts as it relates to the lacrosse program.
Organize and supervise practices, games, and tournaments.
Manage and mentor a team of college-aged lacrosse counselors.
Create an encouraging environment focused on skill-building and teamwork.
Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in alignment with camp policies.

Compensation
Private bedroom and bathroom in on-site housing.
Excellent salary and/or free tuition for your children to attend camp.
All meals provided, along with laundry, Wi-Fi, and access to camp facilities.

Dates
June 20-August 14 2026 (Flexibility possible) 

Requirements

Qualifications
Strong background in lacrosse (playing and/or coaching experience required).
Experience working with children in a camp, recreation, or school setting.
Leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a small team.
Energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic attitude.
