Position Summary
Manages day-to-day Mail Order Operations to coordinate incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts that include functions such as warehousing, shop and delivery services to ensure material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. Leads team to analyze data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements.
What you will do
- Manage the materials budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Define material management strategies and policies to optimize inventory levels, minimize waste, and streamline processes.
- Plan the procurement and inventory management of materials to ensure timely availability and cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and analyze material performance metrics, such as lead times, stock levels, and delivery reliability, to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to align material requirements with production schedules and customer demands.
- Maintain robust vendor pipelines to assess supplier capabilities, quality, and pricing to help inform on the most appropriate vendor selection(s).
- Develop the materials team, providing guidance on best practices, systems, and procedures for efficient material management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material management processes, such as implementing technology solutions, optimizing storage systems, and adopting lean principles.
- Play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, traceability, and safety of pharmaceutical products throughout the supply chain as part of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years work experience
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) preferred.
Education
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
