Job Description Summary
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and support our Toronto Camera operations. In this role, you'll ensure smooth day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and deliver an exceptional client experience. You'll collaborate with other offices and teams to maintain national standards and foster operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate department activities to achieve business growth goals.
- Develop initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
- Ensure compliance with departmental systems and procedures.
- Support client experience from first contact through rental completion.
- Collaborate with other Camera operations managers to implement national standards.
- Build strong relationships with industry professionals (PMs, PCs, DPs, ACs) and vendors.
- Manage inventory logistics and ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Lead team meetings and participate in local/regional/national operations meetings.
- Approve timesheets and manage HR processes (recruitment, performance reviews, etc.).
- Ensure health & safety compliance in coordination with relevant teams.
- Coach, mentor, and conduct regular one-on-one and annual reviews with team members.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in the Camera Rental industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of Cine Camera equipment.
- Experience in an equipment rental house; on-set technical experience is an asset.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of inventory software (e.g., Wynne).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative, innovative, and customer-focused mindset.

Base Pay Range
100,690.00 - 138,449.30
