Description

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, high performing Macro Hedge Fund based in Pfaffikon SZ, Switzerland with AUM circa $2bn. We are seeking a highly motivated, diligent and detail-oriented professional to join our experienced Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and control across all operational & trade support processes, mitigate risk, and support the fund's continued growth while working closely with the Trading Desk and CIO as required.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) :

• Oversight and support of the outsourced operations model
• Ensure accurate booking and pricing of securities and derivatives in PMS (Broadridge)
• Review and monitoring of daily cash and position reconciliations
• Ownership of reconciliations and queries with Administrators and Counterparties
• Trade allocation, confirmation and settlement oversight
• Daily execution and oversight of in-house and outsourced treasury functions
• Counterparty and vendor onboarding, review and ongoing due diligence
• Support monthly NAV reporting and sign off
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Highly motivated, detail-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership
• Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Collaborative team player
• Possess a strong commercial mind-set
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in middle office, fund operations, trade support, or a related role within a hedge fund, asset manager, or prime brokerage firm.
• Solid multi-asset class knowledge; exposure to exotic derivatives an advantage
• Experience managing relationships with prime brokers and custodians
• Strong technical skills. In particular Excel, VBA and Bloomberg. Broadridge an advantage
• Flexible approach, solutions driven mindset with continuous improvement at forefront of mind
• Fluent business English. Basic German a plus, but not essential
• Possess a current, valid work permit.
