About HAIC
HNU-ASU International College (HAIC) is affiliated with Hainan University and located in Hainan Province—China’s only tropical island province. As the first Sino-foreign cooperative education institution in Hainan, HAIC is currently the only such institution in the province that offers a full educational cycle and has produced five graduating classes. It operates in partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), a public comprehensive university in the United States and a world-class research institution. HAIC offers bachelor's degree programs in International Trade. Within the IT discipline, HAIC has introduced and integrated ASU's International Trade program, which ranks No.1 in the QS World University Rankings for International Trade. This program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and is officially recognized as a STEM program in the United States. Its partner institution, the Thunderbird School of Global Management in ASU, enjoys a prestigious reputation in the fields of global business and management education. The college has faculty members from 20 countries and regions. 1/3 of them are from Hainan University, 1/3 are from global recruitment, and 1/3 are from faculties dispatched by ASU. Such an environment will enable you to quickly adapt to the work and life in the HAIC community.
Requirements
About the Position
HNU-ASU International College (HAIC), e-Commerce Department is currently inviting faculty applications in the fields of Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, E-commerce (especially in the field of cross-border E-commerce), Business Data Analytics, Fin-tech, Human-Computer/AI Interaction, and other related fields. Candidates at all levels will be considered, with preference given to applicants for positions at the Assistant Professor level and above. The working language of the college is English. If you ultimately choose to join HAIC, you will be working in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China.
All candidates must hold a PhD (or be near completion) from a reputable and relevant doctoral program. Junior candidates should demonstrate strong potential for publications, primarily in academic journals, and a firm commitment to teaching excellence. Senior candidates are expected to have extensive experience with a proven record of outstanding achievement in both research and teaching. Successful applicants are expected to dedicate themselves to rigorous and sustained research and teaching, and to actively contribute to the development of the college.

Compensation and Benefits
HAIC offers the most competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package based on your qualifications and experience. This includes research funding, a relocation allowance, a housing subsidy, social insurance, travel subsidies, and leave entitlements. Where necessary, arrangements can be made on a case-by-case basis tailored to your personal circumstances. And If you meet the relevant requirements, you can apply for the tax exemption privilege. The college also has dedicated administrative staff to assist you in settling into life in Haikou.
