Job Summary:
The Academy Cordinator/Player Development Professional partners with the Director of Player Development and is responsible for creating a culture of improvement at the Club to generate increased levels of participation amongst the Members and prospective Members. The goal is to increase member value and appeal of the Club through increased participation and the development of a more vibrant and enjoyable golf community. This is accomplished on the golf course by playing golf with members, building relationships, and connecting with people.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 3 years Teaching/Coaching/Player Development
- PGA Member/PGA Associate Preferred
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage lesson schedules, clinics, and junior programs.
- Oversee academy facilities, equipment, and training aids.
- Assist with tournaments, events, and marketing efforts.
- Handle emails, phone calls & lesson bookings.
- Maintain student records & program tracking (Excel proficiency).
- Provide clear updates to students & parents.
- Conduct private/group lessons & clinics for all skill levels.
- Utilize technology (TrackMan, video, etc.) for instruction.
- Track student progress & provide feedback.
- Lead on-course coaching & strategy sessions.
- PGA/LPGA Associate or Class A Certification required.
- Strong organizational & interpersonal skills.
- Proactive with scheduling & academy operations.
