UTMB was established in 1891 as the first academic health center in Texas and is a component of the University of Texas System. Today UTMB includes five schools (medicine, nursing, health professions, public and population health, and graduate biomedical sciences), a network of hospitals and clinics that provide a full range of primary and specialized medical care, and numerous research facilities.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation (DOSR) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) has a long-standing tradition of excellence in research and education. DOSR operates at three campus locations in the region including League City, Clear Lake, and Galveston. Today we have a multispecialty Orthopaedic Surgery team with educational, as well as research/innovative opportunities. providing podiatry and Orthopaedic services at clinical locations in Galveston County and Southern Harris County.
The DOSR is seeking a highly motivated Podiatrist to join the team to meet the increasing patient care needs in a rapidly growing region in Texas. This position will join our group providing Foot and Ankle services
Candidate Requirements:
- D.P.M. from an accredited medical school
- Training in a Podiatry Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatric Medicine
- Ability to obtain a valid unrestricted Texas state Podiatrist license
