The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting a research project funded by NIH. The main responsibilities include project management, coordinating with collaborators, conducting neural device fabrication, biosensor functionalization, electrophysiology and electrochemistry experiments in vitro and in vivo, molecular and histological tissue analysis, analyzing data using quantitative and statistical methods, and writing progress reports and manuscripts. The incumbent will also be expected to help train graduate students to write grant proposals and complete other assignments that the principal investigator may request.

A Ph.D. in Bioengineering/biomedical engineering or other STEM-related field is required.
