In support of Product Manager Ammunition, we are seeking a part-time Management Analyst III with experience in supporting (DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols).Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree in a business or technical field is preferred with ten (10) years of relevant experience in defense life-cycle acquisition. Experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis. Experience shall include collection, review, and analysis of information in order to make recommendations to the Government. Seven (7) years of direct experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support across engineering, logistics, finance, and program management. Typical duties performed may include analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis, or maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices, or products. Analyze relevant programmatic data, which may include configuration management, cataloging, safety, and annual revenues or expenditures. Interview managers and employees while observing their operations. While preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture. Prepare and solve mathematical models. Develop and review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, procedures.
Specific Requirements:
- This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance;
- This position is not eligible for remote work or 100% telework.
- Experience with U.S. Navy / Marine Corps programs, or operations.
- Experience with Marine Corps Class V(W) ground ammunition policies and operational procedures
