Project Manager Remote Sensing (m/f/d)

This will be your future job

• Execute ground-based, nacelle-mounted, floating, and scanning lidar measurement projects
• Act as lead engineer and project manager for complex assignments
• Oversee preparation, execution, and administration of projects
• Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary project teams
• Plan, supervise, and execute installation and commissioning of lidar systems
• Acquire, validate, and process measurement data
• Perform plausibility checks, post-processing, advanced evaluations
• Develop tools for data analysis and quality assurance in challenging projects
• Prepare high-quality technical reports; review deliverables for accuracy/compliance

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Physics or related field
• Strong expertise in LiDAR technology; practical applications knowledge required
• Experience with FGW Technical Guideline TR 6 essential
• Understanding of standards/recommended practices for LiDAR measurements (IEC 61400-50-2) required
• Proficiency in programming/data analysis (MATLAB/Python/FAMOS preferred)
• Knowledge of English language essential (B2.2 or higher)
• German language skills required (B2 or higher)
• Valid driver's license required; willingness to travel domestically/internationally needed
• Health/safety training certification: working at heights/construction site work/first aid/electrical hazard awareness
