The Asia Pacific (APAC) Palladium corporate teamwins and delivers projects for the APAC region as part of Palladium's globalstrategic initiatives and purpose around "Catalysing an enriched future forall".
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Market andBusiness Development:
- Commit to the delivery of company and regional objectives (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) ensuring that personal KRAs are delivered with excellence and timeliness.
- Contribute significantly to business development activities, playing a primary role in managing bid activities.This includes the identification, assessment and pursuit of new business opportunities, bid design, capture and strategy; along with financial structuring of and team selection for winning bids.
- Understand client needs, objectives and requirements, and overcome challenges and customise our services to meet those needs.
- Be highly influential, seeking buy-in from your team and peers, as well as persuade and influence client decision making.
- Build and maintain a network of independent consultants and develop trusted relationships with suppliers/partners through pre-bid negotiations.
- Anticipate future needs or challenges and proactively take steps to address those challenges.
Project Delivery
- Manage multiple/ complex projects providing technical and project management inputs and expertise, as well as delivering technical thought leadership, in a dynamic environment.
- Meet project objectives, deliver value and support delivery of the sustainable business framework.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder and communication skills, introducing and supporting new, inclusive and innovate ways of working. - Customise delivery approach/best practice to meet client needs and ensure excellence in delivery.
Work cross functionally across teams to resolve complex issues and find solutions. - Identify potential for up-sell/cross-sell and seek out follow-on opportunities.
Plan, implement, review and report on project deliverables, providing accurate overviews of budgeting, progress and financial reporting. - Lead risk reporting and mitigation, and develop an awareness of local legal compliance.
- Take accountability for project income (PI) performance and take action to increase profitability to maximise PI against budget.Manage the budget, approvals and scope creep through accurate interpretation and analysis of financial reports.
- Ensure company finance processes and procedures for budgeting, forecasting, bank account management, reconciliation and invoicing are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Ensure systems are inclusive and accessible, removing barriers as necessary and frequently make suggestions on how we might change our approach to better utilise data and technology.
Managing and Leading People
- Manage the full employee life cycle; recruitment, onboarding, project/task allocation, mentoring and capability building, performance management, creating opportunities and supporting career progression and leaver activities.
- Seek opportunities to embrace transparency, build diverse teams, value diversity of thought and encourage innovation; and role model the right behaviours in order to go beyond what is expected to ensure team success.
- Mentor and coach others both formally and informally, investing time in their success and ensuring messages from leadership are supported and clearly cascaded.
- Continue focusing on professional growth and development, proactively seeking out and acting on feedback in a positive way, and developing skills in managing the performance of others (particularly sub-standard performance).
- Respectfully address conflict and collaborate and build relationships that support our mission and strategic objectives, leveraging expertise from across teams, projects, country offices and regions.
Required Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of experience;
- Relevant work experience, preferably within a consulting or project management environment;
- Relevant business development experience in preparing Government tenders and bids, ideally within a consulting or project management environment;
- Technical/ business writing skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Financial and commercial acumen, including excellent skills in Excel.
- Highly developed organisational skills, agility and the ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks, and work well under pressure;
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Coaching and mentoring skills, and ability to lead effective teams;
- Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout the APAC region;
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
