Overview
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Sales Director to exclusively support and grow IDC's strategic relationship with Dell. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for one of IDC's most significant global clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and deep alignment with Dell's evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with IDC's research and product teams to deliver tailored market intelligence solutions, identify new opportunities, and guide initiatives from discovery through successful renewal and expansion. This position requires a strong, results-oriented mindset and a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience to a single, high-impact enterprise account.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Dell account across all IDC product lines.
- Deliver an exceptional, proactive customer experience to Dell every day, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement.
- Develop, manage, and expand a robust pipeline of Dell initiatives to maintain and grow the existing revenue base.
- Deeply understand Dell's strategic priorities, needs, and challenges, and align them with the most relevant IDC research, data, and advisory solutions.
- Prepare tailored proposals, lead high-impact presentations for Dell stakeholders, and negotiate contract terms that support mutual success.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and program leads across Dell's global organization.
- Consistently meet or exceed account-specific sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics tied to the Dell partnership.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all account activity and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development --preferably in market research or IT services.Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience.Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation and of course AIExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.Strong communication skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools
