Description
Your role:As Strategy Program Manager (all genders), you will play a key role in developing and executing the distribution strategy across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead and support regional strategic initiatives and key projects, driving impactful change.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact, collaborating closely with Site Heads, cross-functional experts and stakeholder across LS and ISCO in particular. With a focus on strategic thinking and innovation, you'll develop business cases and provide recommendations that guide our direction. Strategy Development:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive distribution strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and market demands in the EMEA region.
- Drive key distribution projects in EMEA with focus safety, service levels and performance management, leveraging data analytics.
- Develop business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses to guide strategic decisions.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- work closely with supply chain partners to optimize logistic processes, inventory management and network optimization.
Performance metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of distribution strategies, operational performance. Drive accountability with the teams.
Drive Data & AI:
- Lead and coordinate teams to increase data & AI usage across sites.
In-direct leadership:
- Coordinate, lead and mentor a team of distribution professionals, fostering our HIC culture, esp. in collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Share relevant updates with management, colleagues, and stakeholders for alignment.
Who you are:
- University or similar degree associated with Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field (Master level preferred)
- Fluent in English and German
- Supply chain certifications preferred
- 5+ years professional experience in Distribution, strategy and/or Supply Chain
- Consulting experience within Life Science, Chemicals or Healthcare industry knowledge is of advantage
- Profound project management experience in a complex, global environment
- Deep understanding of Logistics and warehousing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for supply chain and distribution management
- Wilingness to travel (10%)
