Description
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Trust Administrator are as follows:
Timely and accurate posting of trust income and expenses, to income and principal
Processing trades
Inputting of check requests, posting of foreign dividends and other manual entry as needed on a daily basis
Ensuring beneficiary remittances are timely and accurate
Coordinating with Fifth Third Bank, the firm’s custodian bank
Generating accurate periodic reporting from the FIS AddVantage trust accounting system
Ensuring the complete and accurate opening and closing of accounts as necessary
Assisting the trustees with ad hoc requests for trust account transaction reports and valuations
Processing cash and stock gifts
Coordinating tax payments
This is hybrid position with a minimum of three (3) in office days per week.
Requirements
4 year college degree required
Preferred 2 – 5 years of experience in trust administration
Ability to prioritize work and escalate matters appropriately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with trustees
Excellent computer proficiency (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion on time
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
