Job Purpose and Impact
We are seeking a self-motivated, safety-focused Associate Feed Scientist Processing - Maintenance Focusto support our pilot-scale production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, as well as supporting small fabrication and improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to adapt to changing production needs, and capable of stepping into production operations when required.
Key Accountabilities
Own routine and preventive maintenance on pilot-scale industrial equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Build and modify small-scale equipment and fixtures to support production and R&D needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to scope and execute small improvement projects.
Provide on-site oversight for larger maintenance or installation projects.
Ensure contractor work aligns with production requirements and safety standards.
Step into production operations as needed to cover for operator absences.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in safety practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
Proficient computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English language
Ability to handle multiple changing priorities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to support production operations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Good technical knowledge and understanding of processes and automation systems.
Experience in feed production, aquaculture, or a related field is preferred.
