The Institute of Glycomis at Shantou University Medical College is seeking highly qualified candidates for multiple full-time, tenure-track positions at the Associate and Full Professor ranks. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields, with a strong preference for a focus on Glycobiology. Successful candidates will develop cutting-edge research programs in areas including, but not limited to: the development and application of new methods in single cell mass spectrometry, glycoproteomics, chemoproteomics, lipidomics, and mass spectrometry imaging; advanced visualization through Imaging and Diagnostic Technologies; design of surgical and assistive tools via Robotics, Automation, and Intelligent Systems; research in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering; targeted therapeutics using Drug Delivery and Nanoengineering; development of Single-Cell and Spatial Omics methods; applications in Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine; biological system design through Synthetic Biology/Bioengineering; and optimization of data analysis, risk prediction, and discovery via Healthcare AI.
