Mutual Ground's mission is to create a safe environment where individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and substance use are able to reclaim their power. We support the healing of our community through education, awareness, and life changing services as a commitment to equity for all.

Company History

Mutual Ground celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2025. We began with a small group of women who opened a shelter and provided a safe place for people to heal and begin anew. We now offer legal services and prevention services in many schools as well as group and individual counseling. We added substance use counseling and prevention to address those needs in the community. We serve our community in many ways and will continue to do so in the future.
