Founded in 1987, Seretta Construction is a leading commercial concrete subcontractor specializing in tilt-wall construction and specialty slabs. Seretta serves the commercial and industrial building community throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeastern, and Southwestern United States (as well as the Caribbean), with offices in Orlando, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Company History
Richard J. McPherson, PE, was a pioneer in the tilt-wall industry, constructing his first tilt-wall in 1963. In 1987, he founded and began Seretta Construction.
We bought our first laser screed in 1992 and were one of the first companies in the US to start using laser screeds. We now have a fleet of the latest models.
In 1999, we built one of the first (4) four-story (full height, single panels) tilt-wall office projects ever attempted. At that time, the brace manufacturers had never encountered single panels of such heights so we worked with the brace manufacturer to design braces that would support such heights.
2001, we decided to expand our operations into a new market which resulted in the opening of our Charlotte, North Carolina office. We have been in the Mid-Atlantic market ever since.
In 2003, we pushed the envelope again and built one of the first (5) five-story (full height, single panels) tilt-wall office projects ever attempted. Again, just as with the (4) story office building, the large amount of openings resulted in a huge amount of deflection once erected and we had to work with the bracing manufacturer to design braces to handle such height and deflection.
We have received many awards but one of the awards we are most proud of is the 2005 “Florida Family Business Program –Family Business of the Year” award. These awards are based on a number of factors including community involvement, business growth rate and current size, and business longevity.
In 2013, we were the second company to receive the Tilt-Up Concrete Association’s “Certified Company” designation. This designation is received after a thorough review of a company’s experience, quality control measures, safety records, and interviewing clients in regard to our quality and professionalism.
