Description
OVERVIEW: The Saint Francis Health System administrative fellowship program is a system-wide 24-month post-graduate fellowship. This fellowship provides future leaders the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the operations, finance, quality and strategic development of a rapidly evolving health system. Additionally, fellows will complete rotations through hospital, ambulatory and corporate functions where they will be an active member of the leadership team and be required to complete meaningful projects to further the ministry. They will take part in activities including board and management meetings; and own projects in conjunction with service lines, acute care hospitals, physician enterprise, rural hospitals and corporate departments. PRECEPTOR: The fellow will have an assigned preceptor during each rotation, which will be a member of the executive leadership team. Fellows will be required to provide reports on their experiences, learnings and observations after each rotation. They will also receive a performance evaluation after each rotation providing real time feedback on their strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

Each application must include the following: One-page personal statement of interest in pursuing a career in Healthcare Administration and interest in Saint Francis Health System, current resume, two letters of recommendation (from the program director and current/past employer), an official graduate transcript, an unofficial undergraduate transcript.
