Special Training Opportunity
in Cardiac Surgery
Advanced Cardiac and Aortic Surgery Fellowship
Individuals who have completed an accredited training program in general surgery or thoracic surgery and are interested in additional training in advanced cardiac and aortic surgery are eligible for this position.
New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center’s Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery performs a high volume of complex aortic reconstructions yearly. This includes reoperations, open and hybrid arch repair, descending and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair, valve sparing aortic root reconstruction and TEVAR.
