Overview
Senior Manager Agile Program Management
As a Senior Manager Agile Program Management, you will play a key role in driving Agile transformation and delivering complex Trading & Risk Management (TRM) programs. You will be responsible for coaching Agile teams, optimizing program execution, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in Agile methodologies and TRM solutions will be critical in enhancing delivery efficiency and business value.
Your Impact
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Agile programs spanning multiple workstreams, vendors, and geographies.
- Lead complex ETRM (Endur/Openlink) transformation and enhancement initiatives, including deal lifecycle, risk, P&L, settlements, and reporting.
- Define and manage program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with trading strategy and business priorities.
- Drive delivery using Agile / SAFe / hybrid methodologies, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities
Your Impact
Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Act as a senior interface between Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, IT, and Compliance stakeholders.
- Establish strong program governance, steering committees, and executive reporting aligned to client standards.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, budget, and timeline trade-offs, providing transparent communication to senior leadership.
Agile Transformation & Ways of Working
- Champion Agile best practices across squads, release trains, and vendors while adapting Agile to fit regulated, risk-sensitive trading environments.
- Coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams on value-based delivery, backlog prioritization, and outcome tracking.
- Ensure effective PI planning, sprint execution, release management, and continuous improvement.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage global system integrators, ETRM vendors, and niche trading solution partners.
- Ensure vendor delivery aligns with quality, security, compliance, and performance expectations.
- Drive accountability for scope, cost, and delivery commitments.
Qualifications
Your Skills and Experience:
- 12-15+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 7+ years in Agile delivery leadership roles.
- Strong experience in energy & commodities trading domain including oil, gas, LNG, refined products, or power trading.
- Hands-on leadership of programs involving Endur/Openlink (ETRM) or comparable ETRM/CTRM platforms.
- Proven track record delivering large, cross-functional trading technology programs in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience working with global stakeholders across trading desks, operations, risk, and IT.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle: trading, scheduling, risk, P&L, settlements, and compliance.
- Strong familiarity with ETRM architecture, integrations, and data flows.
- Experience with cloud migration, data platforms, or digital initiatives within trading is a strong advantage.
