Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Gynecologic Oncology team in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
- Position Type: 1.0 FTE
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30
- Location: Lacks Cancer Center
- Specialty: Gynecologic Oncology
- Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids with possible future support for Muskegon area
- Team Size: Current team consists of 2 physicians, 1 APP, 3 RNs, and a MA
- Call Requirements: Call will be required
- Additional information: This role offers a diverse practice that includes outpatient clinic visits, treatment planning and management, inpatient and postoperative rounding, and participation in surgical procedures as needed. A strong commitment to education is essential, as this position includes working closely with and helping to teach resident physicians. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered cancer care and enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Experience preferred
- Previous experience in OB/GYN, Oncology or surgical specialties is strongly preferred
- Board certified prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
