Help Shape the Future of Geospatial Education at NC State University as an Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor in Geospatial Analytics

The Center for Geospatial Analytics (CGA) at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor in Geospatial Analytics. Driven by university investment in expanded undergraduate offerings—including a new Geospatial Analytics minor—this position offers a dedicated educator the chance to design and deliver dynamic curriculum within a premier interdisciplinary hub.

We seek forward-looking candidates with a strong background in both foundational geospatial concepts and skills alongside modern approaches, such as open-source and cloud-based/native platforms, WebGIS, GeoAI, Geospatial Data Science, and a strong interest in innovative geospatial pedagogy with dedication to undergraduate and graduate student success.
