• Work on high-priority initiatives that directly impact digital channels, distribution, and customer lifecycle
• Take responsibility from planning through delivery, with real decision-making authority and senior stakeholder exposure
• Use both Japanese and English daily while working with Japan leadership and regional teams in an Agile setting

Work with a leading global insurance organization in Japan on high-impact enterprise transformation initiatives across Digital, Channel, and Distribution domains.

These roles will be supporting multiple, high-impact enterprise initiatives, including:

• Digitalization programs
• Channel Simplification initiatives
• Selling & Distribution transformation projects

The overall objective of the team is to drive strategic transformation initiatives across Japan, with a strong focus on process re-engineering, operational efficiency, and modernization of systems and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of complex projects from initiation through delivery
• Partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and leadership
• Managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
• Driving process improvements and modernization initiatives
• Ensuring delivery of outcomes aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements
• Operating within Agile / hybrid delivery environments
• Providing clear project reporting and governance updates to senior stakeholders

Top 3 Required Skills & Experience

1. End-to-End Project Management Expertise

• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on project management experience
• Strong background in stakeholder management, risk & issue management
• Proven ability to be solution-oriented and outcomes-focused

2. Strong Communication & Language Skills

• Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above
• Business-level English for collaboration with regional and global teams
• Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

3. Agile & Software Development Experience

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and digital initiatives
• Able to bridge business needs with technology execution

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Background in insurance or financial services organizations
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programs
