Description
Cybersecurity Task Order Project ManagerThis position is for a proposal and is pending funding/award.
Cybersecurity Task Order Project Manager will serve as the Project Manager for a large, complex task order. Works with the Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Government management personnel, and customer representatives. Responsible for overall management of the task order, including implementation of technical solutions, schedules, and enterprise-wide integration planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Project Manager for a large, complex cybersecurity task order supporting federal government initiatives.
- Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of all contract activities, ensuring successful execution of technical, operational, and programmatic requirements.
- Act as the principal liaison between the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government stakeholders, customer representatives, and contractor personnel.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of cybersecurity and enterprise IT solutions while ensuring alignment with contract objectives and mission requirements.
- Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure on-time and within-budget execution.
- Oversee enterprise-wide integration planning and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver seamless cybersecurity operations and services.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to support mission success and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST standards, cybersecurity policies, and federal security requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership for cybersecurity initiatives, system authorizations, risk assessments, and continuous monitoring activities.
- Monitor task order performance, resource allocation, staffing, and budget utilization to achieve contractual performance objectives.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, program status reports, and recommendations to government leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, security, and regulatory requirements, including clearance and personnel security obligations.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and implement best practices for project management, cybersecurity governance, and risk management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have and maintain an active Secret clearance
- Minimum 6 years of general Information Technology (IT) experience.
- Minimum 6 years of cybersecurity experience.
- Demonstrated leadership managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Risk Management Professional (RMP) credential.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification.
