Description

Advent Christian Village, Florida’s First Retirement Community, expressing Christ’s love in all we do, is seeking an experienced individual to manage daily dining operations at Rumph Dining Room, River Landing Bistro, Lopin’ Gopher, and other onsite special events.

• Ensure food storage, preparation, and presentation meet quality standards
• Administer policies & procedures for all aspects of storage, preparation, service, and disposal; equipment and department sanitation; and employee safety
• Ensure that menus conform with nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures
• Inspect food and food preparation and storage areas; monitor food quality; maintain records as needed
• Evaluate departmental and staff performance to ensure that dietary services adhere to established quality standards
• Ensure staff are adequately trained and maintain consistent performance standards
• Oversee catering functions through the Manager of Hospitality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required**
• CDM or CFSP required (or must commit to completing certification)**
• CPR required**
