Director, M&A and Strategic Partnerships - 913
We are looking for a Director, M&A and Strategic Partnerships. In this role you will lead the identification, execution, and integration of acquisitions and strategic partnerships that support Quantinuum's external growth strategy, ensuring disciplined deal execution, strong partnership outcomes, and delivery of value across hardware, software, commercial, supply chain, and business functions.
Key responsibilities:

Value Chain & Market Assessment to inform corporate development strategy: Conduct analysis of value chain dynamics, competitive positioning, and capability gaps to inform deal sourcing and partnership opportunities.

M&A Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and progress acquisition opportunities, building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline aligned to strategic priorities, including vertical and horizontal growth opportunities.

Deal Execution: Lead end-to-end transaction execution, including coordination of due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, negotiations, and closing in partnership with Finance, Legal, and functional stakeholders.

Business Case & Analysis: Develop robust business cases and financial models to assess strategic fit, valuation, risks, and value creation potential for acquisitions and partnerships.

Strategic Partnerships Execution: Support the development, structuring, and execution of strategic partnerships and joint ventures, ensuring alignment with corporate development priorities.

Integration Planning & Delivery: Lead post-deal integration planning and execution, ensuring clear ownership, synergy tracking, and alignment across hardware, software, commercial, business, and supply chain functions.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Product, Technical, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution from deal thesis through to integration.

Pipeline & Deal Governance: Maintain visibility and reporting on deal pipeline, transaction progress, risks, and outcomes to VP Corporate Development and executive stakeholders.

External Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with targets, advisors, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to support deal flow and partnership opportunities.

Executive & Board Support: Support the development of investment papers, presentations, and analysis for Executive Team and Board discussions.
Must Haves:

M&A & Partnerships Experience (10+ years): Proven experience executing transactions and partnerships within technology, deep-tech, or complex B2B environments, with strong exposure to end-to-end deal processes and integration.
