Job Summary
The Director of Operations Premium Ticketing provides oversight for the planning, execution, and operational strategy of departmental and companywide initiatives. This role oversees logistics and operational processes to ensure consistency and successful execution across all initiatives. The Director works closely with executive leadership, clients, artists, agents, venues, and internal teams to support operational alignment.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and execute operational planning and assessments for programs, artists, tours, festivals, and special events to ensure alignment with execution needs and organizational objectives
- Serve as the operational liaison for procurement, vendor coordination, and program-related advancements across all events, programs and activations
- Oversee end-to-end event operations including planning, timelines, budgets, communications, activations, and execution of deliverables
- Direct merchandise operations including planning, development, production, and associated supply chain and logistics functions
- Lead global logistics operations including freight, customs, imports/exports, and movement of goods, décor, and infrastructure materials.
- Oversee hiring, training, and management of road teams and operational personnel, develop staffing pools, manage vendor relationships, and enforce standardized operational protocols across logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment
- Travel to domestic and international events, collaborate with global counterparts, cultivate key relationships, and ensure consistent execution standards across programs
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred)
- 8-10 years Of related work experience
- Proven track record of success in the entertainment industry, sports industry or equivalent combination of education and experiences
- Ability to lead multiple teams and handle a complex array of initiatives simultaneously
- Vast demonstrated proficiencies across multiple ticketing platforms & associated technologies
- Aptitude for creating seminal programs and generating results that exceed projected goals and expectations
- Industry-leading oral and written communication skills; strong creative and technical presentation skills and capabilities required
- Exceptional problem-solving skills & demonstrated ability to multi-task in extremely fast-paced environments
- Comprehensive understanding of supply and demand based economics and underlying principles
- Strong work ethic, results oriented - proven ability to continuously go above and beyond what is necessary to achieve success
- Proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with no supervision
- Broad proficiencies with MS Office applications including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
- Ability to continuously work long, irregular hours for extended durations - including nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Individual must be exceptionally organized and work well in extremely stressful situations
- Ability to travel for work as required, including last minute travel and extended durations based on overall requirements
- Positive attitude is an absolute must
Payscale: $94,172.28 - $150,000.00
Bonus: (If applicable) This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
